the Curve Food Fest 2016

With a spacious setting that stretches open with bustling restaurants, the Curve has long been a magnet for the Klang Valley’s food lovers – but there’s even more reason to return here this week. Promising ‘A Giant Bite of Happy,’ the Curve will host the latest edition of its Food Fest on Oct. 6-9, 2016, beckoning visitors to eat their hearts out & enjoy huge food displays, cooking workshops, celebrity chef sessions, & even a belly-busting food challenge.

The Curve’s Food Fest 2016 is all about ‘larger than life’ dimensions - expect to gasp at gigantic three-dimensional displays of beloved snacks peppering the mall’s Centre Court, with social media enthusiasts enjoying opportunities to snap fun, quirky photos for Instagram & Facebook, sitting on enormous sushi rolls & burgers or pretending to chomp down on jumbo cookies & cupcakes.

To spice things up further, the Curve’s Centre Court will host stalls serving a wide array of mouthwatering treats – Malaysian classics like Nasi Briyani, Mee Rebus, Pasembor & popular kuih-muih share the limelight with Western staples like pies, cakes & ice cream.

For celebrity chef admirers, Dato’ Fazley Yaakob and Anis Nabilah will also be joining the Food Fest with special cooking demonstrations. MasterChef Celebrity Malaysia winner Dato’ Fazley is expected to awe the crowds with his fusion-style dishes on Saturday, Oct. 8, while award-winning cook and TV host Anis Nabilah reveals her tips and tricks on making cherished Malay favourites when she storms the stage on Sunday, Oct. 9.

Other cooking workshops promise heaps of fun too. To indulge your sweet tooth, try mastering the craft of making ultra-fluffy pancakes or learn the creative art of cupcake-decorating at the Food Fest. Children are welcome at these workshops, ensuring that parents and their kids can enjoy quality time together and bond over culinary pleasures.

And if you're up for a challenge, the Curve’s food-eating competition may excite you, with winners expected to take home prizes by eating their way to victory.

As part of the Food Fest 2016, visitors can secure an exclusive five-piece kitchen utensil set courtesy of the Curve. To redeem this set, spend a minimum of RM200 (RM150 for UOB Card members) in a maximum of two receipts at any outlet in the Curve. Redemptions are subject to terms & conditions.
