La Caleche @ Chamonix, France

Alpine produce is at its peak in La Caleche, a restaurant strategically sited at the foot of Mont Blanc; order a plate of fera, the Savoy region's mountain lake fish, served with fried girolles, before exploring the surrounding commune of Chamonix, where there's breathtaking beauty around every corner.
